The newest Community Notice Board at the entrance of Filey Bus Station has been secured by partnership funding from Yorkshire Coast Homes (now Beyond Housing) and Filey Tourism Association (now Filey Tourism and Trade Association).
The Notice Boards are managed by Filey Town Council and Mr Richard Ulliott, Filey Town Council Caretaker, has taken on the role of Community Notice Board Poster Co-Ordinator.
The Town Council are very pleased to offer this community service to local groups and organisations to display their event posters. There are four Community Notice Boards that are managed by Filey Town Council and these are situated at:
- The entrance to Filey Bus Station
- The end of Belle Vue Street
- Coble Landing and
- On Murray Street
The Community Notice Boards are primarily to advertise community events and therefore in July and August we are unable to accept business related posters and at other times of the year will only be able to display business posters if space allows.
If you would like to display your event on the Notice Boards then please supply four copies of the event to the Town Council Offices, 52a Queen Street, Filey at lease two weeks before the event.
