Filey Town Council serves a community
of approximately 7,000 residents. It consists
of thirteen Councillors elected for a term of
four years who will now hold office until May
2011.
Filey Town Councillors receive no financial
allowances for their term in office. |

Meetings of the Council are held in the Council Chamber
at the Council Offices, 52A Queen Street, Filey on
the second Wednesday of each month and members of
the public are welcome to attend. Public Question
Time is held at approx 7.05pm and 15 minutes are set aside
for questions, comments and exchange of information.

& General Purposes
Planning
(as consultee)
Property
Staffing
Strategic Planning
Planning Committee meetings are held fortnightly on
Monday evenings and all other meetings are held periodically,
agendas and minutes for all meetings will be placed
on this site.
Councillors act as representatives on many local
organisations, attend many Working Party meetings
and also attend regular liaison meetings, walkabouts
and discussions with outside bodies and other authorities.

Borough Council, North Yorkshire County Council and
